As some of our customers pointed out, the file sizes have been significantly larger in the past three weeks. We have found the reason - the recent update of the video encoding software (Sony Vegas) ignored the preset bitrate settings and rendered even the lower resolution videos with an extremely high bitrate. So even the lowest quality videos had a bitrate of almost 80 Mbps (instead of the original 8 Mbps) which made these files almost impossible to stream over an average internet connection.
The higher bitrate as such isn't really an issue because technically the quality of the videos was actually a bit higher than expected but obviously it may have brought some streaming issues or higher download times. So we sincerely apologize - we will alter the video settings and return them back to normal this week :-)
