Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure is used for encrypting communication over the internet. On April 1 we decided to force all users to start using our website over HTTPS. In short - everything you send to our site (for example login details, new comment etc.) or you receive from our site (images, data, videos) gets encrypted. In some cases it's not really essential but most major browsers put emphasis on encryption and we didn't want to stay behind.
The payment form has ALWAYS been encrypted - credit card details and similar sensitive data must always be transferred over a secure connection. We've decided to encrypt login data too (although there's another protection against hackers as you know - each new download location must be enabled by the customer himself). But now - as of April 1 - we've "moved" the whole site under the HTTPS protocol. It does not mean any change for you at all with one exception - read below.
We have had a couple of customers who have suddenly experienced streaming issues over HTTPS on Apple devices. This was solved on April 9.
